Cooking Club – Costa Rica

Who knew that Costa Rican food was the perfect way to enjoy a Friday night in a Minnesota winter? Desiree Brazelton, that’s who! Thanks for having all of us over to invade your home and eat a very tasty meal.

    Is there anywhere in Minnesota that I can buy Medalla (Costa Rican Beer)? I’ve tried Surdyks and Haskells’s – neither one carry it.

    I thought if there was a local resturant that served Costa Rican food, they might be willing to sell it; but so far have had no luck finding it!

    Any info you have would be wonderful – thank you! Cindy Bardeen

    I dropped a line to Blue Max liquors (952) 432-3350, they have the largest selection in the state of imported beers from just about anywhere in the world. They said that they didn’t carry it, and if they don’t carry it, their distributor doesn’t and therefore it’s probably not available anywhere in the state.

    That’s a pretty rare brew.. At least this far north..
