Cooking Club – Hawaii

25 Feb

Aloha! Hang loose everyone!

What could all this islander talk be? Well, it’s another Cooking Club theme of course. Specifically, we managed to escape the frozen north lands (if only for an evening) when the Brazelton clan hosted Cooking Club Hawaii this past weekend. As always, all the recipes were delicious, the beverages were tasty and the Brazelton girls were as entertaining as always. We were also lucky enough to meet the newest addition to the Brazelton menagerie, Ike! Good dog!

Thanks to Paul and Desiree for hosting such a tasty dinner party!

Tastiness follows..

Hawaiian Punch – Desiree
Steak and Pineapple Skewers – Greg
Hawaiian Sweet Bread (King’s Hawaiian Style) – Jessica
Potato Macaroni Salad – Jeanette

We had a great time with all the family events for this year’s holidays, Evan had a great Santa Experience (we keep hearing about how Rudolph ate the carrot Evan set out for him) and got to some great quality play time with all of his cousins. Thanks to everyone for making 2010 a great year, here’s looking forward to a memorable 2011!

Cooking Club – Mom

What an excellent time and theme for this past weekend’s Cooking Club gathering. Jason assigned us the task of interviewing our mothers to see what they would bring to Cooking Club, as well as why they would make that dish. It made for some excellent stories and very tasty treats. Thanks to the Miller’s for hosting an delicious evening.
