October seems so far away!

Ni hao ma everyone? Hope the day finds you well and full in your belly, very much as we were this past weekend when we hosted probably our last cooking club here at Chez Morrison’s Lakeview Dr! Cooking Club – Chinese came across as a hit, despite the high-intensity-crammed-kitchen-last-minute-cooking that was done on many of the dishes.
It was great seeing all the kids playing together and special thanks to Amelie for the very well done portrait of the Easter Bunny! The recipes are starting to roll in, apologies if I’m getting the name of your dishes wrong, as I missed the introduction of a few of ‘em!
Greg – TsingTao beer and Green and White Teas
Jessica – Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts
Paul – Hot and Sour Soup with Tofu, Chicken, Pork and Mushrooms
Desiree – Steamed Buns
Jeanette – Chinese Fried Rice
John – Sichuan Braised Cod
Jason – Homemade and Chocolate Dipped Fortune Cookies
Thanks for another deliciously successful Cooking Club; for the record, I was most definitely not hungry 15 minutes later!
We had a great time with all the family events for this year’s holidays, Evan had a great Santa Experience (we keep hearing about how Rudolph ate the carrot Evan set out for him) and got to some great quality play time with all of his cousins. Thanks to everyone for making 2010 a great year, here’s looking forward to a memorable 2011!
