1 ½ Cup Brown Sugar
½ Cup Shortening
Dash salt
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg beaten
1 tsp soda
2-3 cups Rhubarb

Mix Well. Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle top with ½ cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon, and ½ cup chopped nuts (nuts optional)
Bake at 350o for 35 –40 minutes.
If desired serve topped with whipped cream.
