1 Cup butter
1 ¼ Cup powdered sugar
1 egg
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. almond extract
2 ½ cups flour

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, salt and flavoring and mix well. Add flour, mixing well.
Chill briefly for ease of handling, but not so long that you have trouble getting dough to come out of the cookie press.
Load dough into cookie press and force through press onto ungreased baking sheet in desired shapes.
Bake at 400o for 6-8 minutes until set. Edges will be just lightly browned.
